I'm going to do the Inktober Challenge this year!

I'm excited to see what everyone will produce and I have two friends holding me accountable already--it's going to be a busy month haha. Nothing much else to report on, it's fall and I have lots of half-completed pieces that will get done in the winter time when the temperature has cooled. Pets just came out in KHUX which has been really fun playing in the coliseum since the little yip yip dog does a dance every time you win a battle--and since they are based off of Dream Eaters, it looks absolutely ridiculous. I can't wait to see what they will do with them next.  

For now, expect to see lots of little pieces: some fan art, some not.

Since photobucket took away hosting privileges on other sites, some of my pages look a little...eugh. Once I find a good place to host everything, I'll put the banners back up. For now, I'm taking everything down so there aren't giant ugly blocks everywhere. 

Zootopia was such an excellent movie and a such a joy to watch that I'm still reeling from it --WHAT A RUSH!! I'm going to rock out to "Try Everything" for the next week. Not only am I impressed with the ambition of Zootopia's themes (this movie could have gone to a bad/awkward place veeeeery quickly) so I give kudos to the story team who made an easily accessible film that also acknowledged the difficulty of trying to achieve your dreams in a world that likes neatly defined boxes. Great film, go see it (I hear it actually beat Frozen?) I'm probably going to draw more fan art haha.


SMALL SPOILER: I really like that there are no dogs or cats in Zootopia, only wolves and various wild cats, which makes so much evolutionary sense considering humans don't exist in this world. Like, looking back at it now, I'm so impressed that they kept things as zoologically accurate as possible. THANK YOU, DISNEY.
